RIYADH: Saudi customs thwarted three separate attempts to smuggle 252 kilogrammes of cannabis in the Governorate of Jazan. Officers arrested five Ethiopian nationals who crossed the border illegally and seized 50 kilogrammes of Cannabis.
In second operation, Saudi border guards arrested another group of illegal migrants and confiscated 171 kilogrammes of hashish. They also arrested another group of infiltrators and seized 31 kilogrammes of hashish. The infiltrators were all referred to the directorate of anti-narcotics for investigation, reported local Arabic daily Al-Jazirah.
