Saudi Customs will hold two workshops within the project’s strategic transformation program with participation of private sector

RIYADH: General Customs Department recently held two workshops in the cities of Jeddah and Dammam , with the participation of customs partners in the work of customs from the private sector. The aim of the workshops axes to show customs plans in the strategic shift to serve the business sector in the field of import and export and take advantage of the views and proposals made by the customs partners in the private sector.

He explained that Mr. Majid Mistirm General Supervisor of the Office of Strategic Transformation Customs that the goal of communicating with our partners in the private sector is to achieve the aspirations and expectations of the business sector in terms of customs services in the field of import and export and create the appropriate environment that serves to facilitate trade in order to achieve the WTO Agreement and activate customs initiatives in the national transformation 2020. Mistirm added that these workshops was preceded by a similar workshop was held in the city of Riyadh comes the interest of the Saudi Customs to include all communication business communities in various cities of the Kingdom.
