Supreme Court orders FBR to submit full details of tax refunds

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has asked full details and record of illegal tax refunds from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

According to details, a full bench of the Supreme Court, under the chair of Chief Justice Anwer Zaheer Jamali, has heard the tax refunds case. During the hearing, the Advocate from the FBR side told the court that the FBR has asked permission from Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef against accused Shafeeq Akhtar which will take some time while the FBR has started operation against other accused Amna Javeed, Baila Tahir and other in this regard.
