SIALKOT: Taking serious notice of the dense foggy weather with zero visibility, the management of the Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) has directed all the exporters to send their export consignments at Sialkot Dry Port Trust at least four days before their cut-off time.
The SDPT management claimed that the arrival of all export cargo consignments at SDPT at least four days before the cut-off would be helpful in timely dispatch of these shipments to foreign destinations.
A circular issued by the SDPT management reveals that dense foggy, misty and smoggy weather with zero visibility was causing inordinate delays in sending these consignments to the Karachi Dry Port.
