Security tightened at Pakistan-India trade gate after car incident

LAHORE: Security has been stepped up at Pakistan-India Attari Wagah international border after a man crashed his car into the gates. Pakistan has tightened its security for trade gate of Wagha border as well after the incident.

An Indian man hit his car with a gate of Wagha border on Monday after crossing three check points of Indian border security force.

According to officials of Wagha Land Freight Unit, Pakistan Rangers and security forces tightened their security on border and specially on trade gate. Vehicles and trucks are crossing the border every day so it was necessary to take strict security measures to avoid such incidents that was happened on Monday on Indian side.
