Service Tribunal adjourns FBR employees’ promition case

ISLAMABAD: Federal Service Tribunal benches on Wednesday adjourned hearing of cases pertaining to ‘promotion’ and up-gradation’ of FBR employees.

The bench, comprising Dr Nazir Saeed, Syed Muhammad Hamid and Ishtiaq Ahmed heard the cases containing matter of ‘promotion’ and award of ‘special allowance equal to 100 percent basic pay, and adjourned hearing till December 11.

Attaullah Khattak had filed the petition seeking tribunal’s verdict on ‘special allowance equal to 100 percent of basic pay’ through his counsel Misbah Ullah Khan. Shafique ur Rehman Siddiqui had a filed petition about his ‘promotion’ at FBR through his counsel Abdur Rehman Siddiqui.

Meanwhile, another bench of tribunal comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi, heard upgradation petition filed by Malik Tariq Mehmood and Shafiq Khokhar’s petition about ‘promotion’. The bench also adjourned hearing of cases till December 15.
