Service Tribunal to hear plea for restoration of special allowance today

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal will hear only one case of service matter against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on coming Monday.

A division bench of the tribunal comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Syed Muhammad Hamid would hear the case mainly carrying the subject of “special allowance”.

This case had been filed by an FBR staffer, Farman Ullah, through his counsel Advocate Matloob Hussain Malik.

The appellant had prayed the tribunal to direct the Board’s administration to grant him the special allowance equal to 100 percent of his basic pay.

The tribunal was already hearing cases related to special allowance and the recent had added to the sum.

It is pertinent to mention that the FBR, through its counsel yet had not filed any object on the petition.
