Services rendered by Dr Arslan Subuctageen will be remembered:  FBR chairman

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) held farewell party to recognize the outstanding services of Dr Arslan Subuctageen Member Legal and accounting- Customs FBR on his retirement.

According to the details, a farewell party was arranged in honor of Member Legal of FBR on his retirement, it was attended by the Chairman FBR Javed Ghani, Member Customs Operations, S.M. Tariq Huda,  Member IR (ops), Member IRA (policy) Member Admin, Member Legal, MS&RS, Member HRM, Member IT, Member FATE, and all other members along with Chief Admin, Chief IRS Management, Chief Legal Customs and SA to Chairman.

Shield presented by the Chairman while bouquets were presented by Member Customs Operations Tariq Huda, in recognition of  Dr Arslan’s outstanding career in Customs service and every participant spoke about him and his performance and contribution towards the department.

At the end Chairman praised his services and then Dr Arslan spoke and concluded by expressing his gratitude to the Board chairman and all members.

Dr. Arslan was superannuated from service on 22, July 2020 after serving the Government for 34 years 4 years in Punjab Government and 30 years in Pakistan Customs. full Board in Council was held to recognize his services to the Country, the FBR and Customs.

Dr.Arslan is a Senior BS-21 officer of Pakistan Customs Service (18th CTP), served till 22nd July 2020 as Member Customs (Legal & Accounting), Federal Board of Revenue, DG CPEC (Customs) and DG Intellectual Property Rights (Enforcement).

Throughout a career of thirty-four years in the Civil Service of Pakistan, he has been posted at almost all senior field and policy related positions at FBR with a 100% achievement record, accumulating vast administrative experience spanning over three decades.

His most recent responsibilities included managing and monitoring all litigation pertaining to Pakistan Customs before the Supreme Court, High courts, Federal Tax Ombudsman, Special Judge Customs and all other legal forums etc.

As a Member Accounting responsibilities Dr.Arslan were included convening Departmental Accounts Committees for settlement of Audit paras, representing Customs service at the Public Accounts Committee and ensuring implementation of its directives. Ends
