KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has adjourned the hearing of petition filed by Aamir Hussain Siddique against suspension of its sales tax registration.
The SHC division bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhter and Justice Abdul Malik Gaddi, heard the petition.
Earlier, the petitioner’s counsel stated that petitioner is manufacturer/importer / exporter of textile goods and paying sales tax regularly. However, it came to know that the sales tax registration of the petitioner is blocked/ suspended on account of the one of the analysis of sales tax returns profile.
The counsel argued that petitioner had approached the respondents and produced all documents for satisfaction but respondents did not agree with the petitioner.
Citing FBR chairman, RTO-I chief commissioner and others as respondents, the petitioner prayed to the SHC to direct the respondents to restore the sales tax registration of the petitioner.
