KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has restrained the Post Clearance Audit (Customs) from taking any coercive action against DG Khan Cement till April 25.
The SHC Appellate Bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Arshad Hussain, earlier heard Ghulam Hyder Shaikh advocate of Franklin Law Associates who appeared for the petitioner. The petitioner impugned a show-cause notice issued in respect of a consignment of LED Lights. The petitioner sought exemption from Custom Duty, Sales Tax and other levies.
The bench allowing proceedings however restrained the respondent PCA from making any final order while fixing April 25 as next date of hearing.
