KARACHI: Sindh High Court has ordered Customs to release consignments of polished granite slabs/tiles imported from India.
The court stated that the consignments blocked by MCC Appraisement East must be released as no public notice was issued regarding restriction on import of polished granite slabs and polished granite tiles from. The Customs Department put hold on all consignments of polished granite slabs and polished granite tiles imported from India as these products are prohibited to be imported into the country as per provisions of Import Policy Order.
