SHC to take up 70 customs, income tax related cases today

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday (today), will take up more than 70 customs and income tax related cases.

According to the roaster, one bench was comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Arshad Hussain Khan and another comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar.

According to the Sindh High Court’s (SHC) office, intimation notices also were issued to the both sides’ parties for attending the court and SHC also has directed the parties to file rejoinders before the courts.

Another side, the Customs (Taxation & Anti-Smuggling) Court Judge Syed Faiz Rasood Rashdi will also take more than 20 customs & income tax related cases.

According to the cause list, regular hearing, prosecution evidences and confirmation of bail applications were included in these cases; custom court office has already issued notices to the both sides’ parties and investigation officers for attending the court on Monday.
