KARACHI: The shoes importers in the country will go to the court if the Director General Custom Valuation rejects their petition against the higher valuation.
According to the sources, the importers have not provided the satisfactory reason for lowering the valuation of the imported shoes.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Footwear Traders Association has planned to knock the door of the honorable court if their petition is rejected.
The Pakistan Footwear Traders Association had already threatened the government to shut their shops if demands presented by them are not met asking the department to revise the valuation of the imported shoes.
