Shortage of staff affects RTO performance in Multan

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue should fill vacant vacancies immediately by recruiting new staff at the Regional Tax Office Multan.

According to sources, the Regional Tax Office is looking for fresh recruitments to fill the severe deficiency of employees at the Regional Tax Office for the daily working operations. Shortage of employees at the various positions is already badly put a negative impact on the performance of the Regional tax office Multan.

The Regional Tax Office is still waiting for the fresh recruitments from the Federal Board of Revenue after lifting of ban from the new recruitments at the Regional Tax Office .The Federal Board of Revenue is failed to implement on the decision of new recruitments at the Regional Tax office. Almost 250 employees are working at the Regional Tax office Multan at the moment but the Regional tax office Multan is facing shortage of employees at the Regional tax office for the accomplishment of their task.

The Federal Board of Revenue has done the last recruitment in 1993 and after the last recruitment in 1993 the department has not recruited any single employee at the Regional Tax office. Deceased employees’ who were died during their service, their family member got recruitment at the place of their family members at the Regional Tax Office Multan.

If the Federal Board of Revenue has not given any attention towards the shortage of staff at the Regional Tax Office Multan then there the Regional Tax Office may face huge crisis of manpower in the 2016 because of shortage of the employees at the Regional Tax office Multan.

Half of the staff at the Regional Tax Office Multan will be retired from their service after the completion of their staff because the staff at the Regional Tax office is too old that they are near for the completion of their government service at the Regional Tax Office Multan.

The Federal Board of Revenue should interfere immediately into the matter of fresh recruitment to avoid any possible crisis at the Regional Tax Office Multan. The Federal Revenue Alliance has demanded couple of times from the Regional Tax Office Multan for the fresh recruitment to remove the shortage of staff at the Regional Tax office Multan.
