ANF seizes 1,500kg fine quality charas during crackdown in Sambrial

SIALKOT: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 1,500 kilograms fine quality charas worth millions of rupees from a house in Muhallah Rajputan in Sambrial city. The house is owned by alleged drug trafficker, Rana Shahid.

According to the senior ANF officials, an ANF team raided the house and seized 1,500 kilogram charas. The ANF officials said that the accused had stocked charas in the basement of his house.

They said that the ANF has arrested four suspects, Rana Muhammad Aslam, Rana Zaheer, Ejaz Mughal and Sabir alias Sabu, while the main suspect, Rana, Shahid managed to escape from the scene. The ANF team has sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case against them. The ANF officials added that the further investigations are underway.

The officials have yet to find answers how the suspect managed to stock such a bulk quantity of charas at home and whether he is part of a big drug cartel or not.
