Sialkot ASO impounds Toyota Corolla worth Rs 1.2m

SIALKOT: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has impounded a non-duty paid vehicle, Toyota Corolla, worth Rs 1.2 million.

As per details, ASO incharge Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary along with his team was checking vehicles on Grand Trunk (GT) Road the other day.

Meanwhile, the team intercepted a vehicle Toyota Corolla for checking of documents. During the checking process, it was found that the vehicle was being used without payment of customs duty.

Taking legal action, the team impounded the vehicle and shifted it to the Customs House. The driver of the vehicles was released after proper interrogation.
