Sialkot Chief Commissioner IR assures exporters of early refunds

SIALKOT: Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Sialkot Shahid Hussain Chatta has assured the Sialkot business community about early clearance of all the prolonged and pending sales tax refund claims, enabling the Sialkot exporters to work hard with full devotion, dedication and complete peace of mind for increasing the national exports and boosting the national economy.

He made his assurance while addressing an important meeting of the Sialkot exporters held at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry. SCCI President Dr. Sarfraz Bashir, Senior Vice President Mian Anwar, Vice President Khawar Sapal, representatives of Sialkot’s main trade bodies and local senior FBR officials were also present on the occasion.

He said that all the tax related perturbing problems of the Sialkot exporters would be solved amicably by taking them into confidence under the supervision of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

On the occasion, SCCI President Dr. Sarfraz Bashir demanded the simplification of registration process in the sales tax department, especially for the new companies.

Chief Commissioner said that the tax collection system of Federal Board of Revenue would be made easier and further simplified for providing maximum relief to Sialkot’s business community.
