SIALKOT: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Sailkot’s employees of BS-16 have demanded the Federal Board of Revenue to promote them to the next grade.

Talking to Customs Today, they said Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had announced in his budget speech of 2014 that employees of BS-16 will be promoted to BS-17. They added “we are waiting for promotions since then but no action has been taken by the government so far.” Employees said they are working sincerely to curb the smugglings and are strengthening the national economy.
