Sialkot Customs holds awareness sessions for Haj

SIALKOT: The Customs Preventive staff deputed at Sialkot airport has held an awareness sessions for Hajis before they go to Saudi Arabia.

Sources told Customs Today that Superintendent Sardar Manzoor told Hajis to avoid taking any item from another passenger.

The Customs staff requested the Hajis to pray for peace in the country. The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started its Haj flights from Sialkot from Thursday. Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) Chairman Malik Ashraf  Awan has said that the PIA will transport 2,200 male and female pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through seven flights.

He said that a special Hajj camp established near Sialkot airport to facilitate them. Customs Preventive visited the Haji Camp and apprise Hajis that which item will appropriate during their journey for Hajj purpose.
