Sialkot Customs issues rebate cheques amounting to Rs 320m to exporters

SIALKOT: The Customs Collectorate has issued rebate cheques amounting to Rs 320 to various exporters who belonged to Sialkot, Gujrat and Gujranwala.

Assistant Collector Zahid Bashir Chaudhary told Customs Today that the process to clear refund claim up to Rs 5 million will be completed before March 31. Customs Collector Ahmad Reza is taking keen interest in the clearance of the pending amount of rebate refunds to exporters without any further delay.

He said that the exporters of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will take benefit from this process of rebate refund.

He said refund claims upto Rs 5 million will also be cleared soon. He hoped that payment of rebate claims will encourage business community to further speed up their trading activities.
