Sialkot Customs makes a plan to provide basic education of IT

SIALKOT: Customs Department has made a plan to provide basic education of computer and latest Information Technology (IT) to all clerical staff, constables and class four employees.

Customs official told Customs Today  that it is in the knowledge of  higher authorities that said employees have awareness about computer and Information Technology but higher authorities is ready to educate these employees to increase knowledge of department. The department has prepared summary to get permission from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Official said that when the summary will approve the program starts without any delay while the department has allocated reasonable funds for this purpose. Official told that the department will provide computers and other instruments for the program whereas the IT specialist will give lecture and training to said employees. A class four official Luqman said that the knowledge of IT is very appropriate for all employees and this knowledge of real future of employees.
