SIALKOT: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a non-customs paid car during a routine checking on roads. Sources informed Customs Today that Director Customs Intelligence Muhammad Anwar deployed a team on GT Road to check non-duty paid vehicles and curb smuggling.
During the routine checking, Inspector Majid Raza intercepted many vehicles while a Toyota Vitz car worth Rs 8 million was found to be non-customs paid. The Customs authorities seized the car and forwarded the case to the customs adjudication for further proceedings.
