SIALKOT: Under the leadership of Collector Ahmad Reza, the Model Custom Collectorate has surpassed its target of third quarter (January-March), a month earlier by collecting Rs 320 million against Rs 300 million target during January and February.
Talking to Customs Today, Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) allocated Rs 300 million collection target for the first three months of the year 2016, but the department achieved the target in two months and collected Rs.320 million. He said that the Sialkot Customs also issued Rs 310 million to exporters as rebate.
The Sialkot Customs was working smoothly for the betterment of country as it is the hub of export, the assistant collector said, adding that exporters were being facilitated at every stage in order to increase the exports of country.
