SIALKOT: Gujrat Excise and Taxation Officer Irfan Gondal has issued notice to former Chairman NADRA for recovery of property tax of Rs 4 million.
He informed Customs Today that Former Chairman NADRA Ali Arshad Hakeem is defaulter of property tax of Rs 4 million since long. He said that the excise department has intimated him many times in writing and verbally but he had failed to deposit his tax amount.
Now, District Officer has issued final notice to Ali Arshad Hakeem in which he is warned to pay the default amount until June 30, 2016. He said the department would seal his property if he failed to deposit property tax with fine.
