SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has recovered Rs 5 million as token tax from the owners of 821 vehicles which were impounded for the non-payment of their token fees in Gujranwala Division.
According to the senior officials, after this recovery, the impounded vehicles were handed over to their owners. The Excise and Taxation senior officials have directed the commuters to ensure the early fixation of the computerized registration number plates on their vehicles after the payment of the prescribed registration fees, in this regard.
