Sialkot Excise & Taxation brings 25 towns under tax net

SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has brought as many as 25 towns under the tax net in Gujranwala Division for the collection of the property taxes from the local people.

The senior E&T officials told that three towns Jaamkey Cheema-Daska, Kotli Loharaan and Begowala(in Sialkot district), Kunjah and Dinga(in Gujrat district), Qadirabad nad Mangat (in Mandi Bahaud Din district), Pindi Bhattian and Jalalpur Bhattian (in Hafizabad district) and other towns in Narowal and Gujranwala districts have been included in the lists of the tax paying area after completion of the necessary tax survey in these areas.

Meanwhile, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Majid Raza Bhutta has strongly condemned the persecution of the Rohngiya Muslims in Myanmar.

He said that the prevailing brutal and barbaric act perpetrated against the unarmed Muslims, including women, children and even infants is a big question for the collective human conscience across nations and societies.

SCCI President urged the international community to take an urgent notice this persecution and make effective efforts to globally pressurize Myanmar to halt the brutal killings of the Rohngiya Muslims.

He said that every religion of the world preaches love , peace and harmony, saying that this devastating cruelty and murder of innocent Rohangiya Muslims  was the point of grave concern for the whole world.

He emphasized that hundreds of sinless and naive children are being deprived of their childhood, the women are being ripped off of their esteems, their houses are burnt down and are forced to live helplessly on streets.
