Sialkot FIA arrest five human traffickers

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has nabbed five human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders during a raid.

Reportedly, FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees conducted raids in Sialkot, Gujrat and Hafizabad along with his team and nabbed five human traffickers named Kashif, Zamir Bajwa, Nawaz, Iltaf Hussian, Tajammal Fiaz and Mansab.

These human traffickers were involved in illegal human trafficking from long time. The FIA has recovered fake visas and documents whereas the cases have been registered against the accused persons.

Meanwhile, the FIA nabbed 727 human traffickers included 15 red book accused during last six months and recovered Rs 140 million.

Deputy Director Khalid Anees told that FIA team nabbed 15 dangerous human traffickers who were include in red book whereas 417 proclaimed offender, 135 absconder and 166 fugitives during last six months.

He told that 362 human traffickers have been punished by the court. He further said that FIA Gujranwala is facing due to shortage of staff; therefore, the process of investigation is slow.
