Sialkot FIA arrests nine human traffickers including ‘wanted’ suspect

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested as many as nine human traffickers including a wanted human smuggler.

According to the FIA Deputy Director Malik Sikandar Hayyat, the FIA arrested wanted accused Raja Tanveer from Kalar Syedaan-Rawalpindi, besides arresting other accused Munawar, Aamir Shehzad, Qamar, Arif, Jamil, Imran and Rana Nasir in Gujranwala, Sialkot and Kamonki.

He said that the accused had been running illegal business of sending the innocent people abroad especially to Greece, Europe, UAE, Muscat, Iran and Turkey through illegal means after extorting handsome amounts from them.

FIA Deputy Director revealed that the FIA has also recovered the dozens of the passports, fake legal, medical and diplomatic documents and fake stamps from these accused. FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering separate cases against them. Further investigations are underway, in this regard.
