SIALKOT: The special teams of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided in Sialkot and unearthed three illegal currency exchanges in various parts of Sialkot city.
Deputy Director Mufakhar Adeel told media that the FIA teams sealed these illegal currency exchanges in Sialkot and arrested their accused owners Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Sarfraz and Salman Butt for running these illegal currency exchanges in Sialkot.
He told the newsmen that the FIA teams also seized a big quantity of the national and foreign currencies including Rs. 3.3 million, 8000 Saudi Riyals, 1200 US $, Euros 600, UAE Dirhams 100, Qatari Riyals 500, Omani Riyals 500, hundreds of the prize bonds of different denominations and other foreign currencies.
FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering separate cases against them. Further investigations were underway, in this regard.
