Sialkot RTOs collects 38 tax returns under tax amnesty scheme

SIALKOT: The Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) have recovered 38 tax returns from non-filers under the tax amnesty scheme until February 25, 2016.

Sources told Customs Today that the tax offices of Sialkot, Gujrat and Narowal are working hard for the success of the scheme. Meanwhile, a seminar was also organised by the authorities to create awareness and understanding of Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme among the traders and business community, where many traders have participated.

Sources said that the economic contributions of the non –filers will be increased with the passage of time. FBR has directed RTOs to make better plan for the accomplishment of tax amnesty scheme that more non-filers could file their tax returns through this scheme.
