Sindh Excise collects Rs 8.85m property taxes in 3 months

KARACHI: The property tax branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has recovered Rs 8.85 million property taxes from defaulter during the last three months. The department has set deadline of March 28 to collect 6.05 million from the property tax defaulters.

Property tax incharge district central Ibrar Shah has said that following the directions of Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Gyan Chand Ersani, the department has sped up the collection process.
