KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has started implement the directions given by Sindh Excise and Taxation Minister Gayan Chand Israni about the cars holding fancy number plates.
The department has decided to take help from the Sindh Traffic Police to impose fine on motorists violating the directions. The decision had been taken in a meeting of the excise and taxation officials. The duration of this step will be two weeks up to December 4. The vehicles having ‘fancy’ or ‘applied for’ number plates would be seized after December 8.
