KARACHI: The Sindh government is going to raise some taxes and fees in its budget 2015-16. According to sources in the Excise Department, a raise is expected in different government fees.
The Sindh government has already finalized a proposal to raise registration fee of vehicles from Rs 200 to Rs 400, while fee of duplicate registration of vehicles will be Rs 2000 from Rs 200. The sources further said that government is taking all possible steps to achieve revenue target before the end of current fiscal year. Enhancement in taxes and fee is expected during the budget speech of the provincial finance minister.
