Six food points sealed

MULTAN: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed six food points and imposed a fine of Rs 218,500 on others for selling unhygienic items and over poor cleanliness arrangements on Saturday.

The PFA launched the operation at different cities of South Punjab and checked cleanliness and quality of food items. The team sealed six food points, including Akbar Drink Corner, Nadeem Drink Corner, Bilal Rewari Sweets, Pakpattan Sweets, Sajad Mehboob Bakers and Alkhair Sweets Muzaffargarh, for selling unhygienic items. The teams also imposed a fine of Rs 218,500 on other food points. The teams of the PFA also issued warning notices to various food points to improve cleanliness and quality of food items.
