SMEDA organizes seminar on compressed air technology

PESHAWAR: Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with the FF Steel and Rastgar and Company organized a one day seminar on the compressed air technology at FF Steel, Hayatabad the other day.

The objective of this event is to initiate the process of capacity building of manufacturing sector of KP for attaining sustainability through modern technology and promote the best possible options.

The prominent speaker of the event was Imtiaz Rastgar (Ex-CEO, EDB).

In his welcome address, Provincial Chief, SMEDA, Javed Iqbal Khattak emphasized upon the need of adopting energy efficient technologies within the industry.

Imtiaz Rastgar trained the participants on the managerial aspects of compressed air technology, its need, and applications for economy and efficiency in various industries.

The technical session was conducted by Mr. Husain (Manager, Rastgar and Company), who not only delivered a detailed class room presentation but also provided demo based information at the well equipped compressor room of the FF Steel.

Majority of the technical personnel belonging to the pharmaceutical and food processing sectors of KP actively participated by discussing various issues faced on floor.

Zarak Khan Khattak (Director, FF Steel) expressed his gratitude to the participants and offered for continued facilitation to SMEDA and Rastgar for such productive capacity building sessions.
