Smuggled vehicle case: Customs Court approves bail pleas of two suspects

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling has approved pre arrest bail pleas of two suspects in different cases.

Sources told Customs Today that Special Federal Court approved pre-arrest bail plea of an accused Shakil Ahmad on Monday. Sources said that the customs intelligence has registered a case against him under customs act for using non-customs paid vehicle.

Accused Shakil Ahmad moved to the court for his pre arrest bail. After listening arguments court has approved his bail plea against surety bonds and personal gurantee. Customs Intelligence has recovered a luxury vehicle that was in his use.

In another case Customs Court approved pre arrest bail plea of Arif Ali. He was also wanted to customs in a case of non customs paid vehicle. A case has registered against him.
