SNGPL forms special teams to detect use of generators on gas

SIALKOT: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has formulated special vigilance teams to detect and halt the use of the generators on gas by all the domestic, commercial and industrial consumers.

According to the General Manager SNGPL Gujranwala Faisal Tayyub, the use of generators on gas has increased by the consumers due to the load shedding of electricity , saying that the SNGPL has planned to halt the increasing use of power generators on gas.

GM added that SNGPL teams were going door to door to check the use of generators on gas by the consumers, saying that gas connections of the consumers would be disconnected instantly if any accused was caught red handed while using generators on gas there in Gujranwala Division’s all the six Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts, in this regar.
