CAPE TOWN: Motor trade sales (measured in nominal terms and current prices) decreased by 2.1% year on year in April 2015, Statistics SA reported on Thursday.
Seasonally adjusted motor trade sales decreased by 6.2% in April 2015 compared with March 2015. This followed month-on-month changes of a 4.9% increase in March 2015 and a 0.4% rise in February 2015. Seasonally adjusted motor trade sales increased by 0.1% in the three months ended April 2015 compared with the previous three months.
Motor trade sales increased by 1.6% in the three months ended April 2015 compared with the three months ended April 2014.
