KARACHI: Sindh Revenue Board has once again written to the Federal Board of Revenue FBR to refund service sector tax. According to details, during fiscal year of 2013, the Sindh Revenue Board had mistakenly deposited the tax of service sector into the account of the FBR.
Sources in Sindh Revenue Board told Customs Today that after many written reminders sent to the FBR and the Federal Ministry of Finance they are still unable to receive the service sector tax amount. Sources further revealed that authorities concerned of FBR assured us to deposit the amount in our account but the amount is still outstanding.
Sources said that now we once again brings this situation into the notices of high-ups of FBR for this purpose we also tried to contact Deputy Commissioner HQs Imran Bhatti but the said official if out of country.
