SRB restores ST registration of Wateen Telecom

KARACHI: Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has restored the suspension of sales tax registration of M/s. Wateen Telecom Limited with immediate effect on payment of outstanding liability.

In an order for revocation of suspension, the SRB said that the representatives of M/s. Wateen Telecom Limited had paid the liabilities through pay order. The company also requested to restore the registration so they could able to generate the PSID, deposit the tax amount on the same day.

The SRB restored the sales tax registration with the following conditions that the company is required to:

  1. generate PSID against said payorders immediately on restoration of registration,
  2. e-file the returns within two days of deposit of tax amount
  3. deposit the tax amount and e-file the tax returns in the time and manner prescribed under the law.
