SRO 608: Small traders threaten country-wide strike

KARACHI: The Central vice Chairman of all Pakistan Small Traders Forum Shaheen Ihsan threatened they will call on strike all over the country if the Government does not take the order of SRO 608 back.

He said “SRO is a mental agony for them and the business community is not in favour of this decision at all”. He said “the order of SRO 608 reveals the shortcomings of the present Government because it is not the part of any law and this SRO 608 has brought about acute tension among the traders.

Moreover this is not good for the Government as well as businessmen rather it is creating rift between them. The current political situation is not in the favour of the Government therefore the Federal Minister immediately pass order for the cancellation of SRO 608 and thus end the tension of the traders.
