ST evasion: FBR I&I seizes record of M/s Madni Paper Mills record

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Intelligence and Investigation Inland Revenue (I&I) IR has raided premises of M/s Madni Paper Mills located near Sheikhupura Road on Friday and seized records and computers of the company.

Sources of Inland Revenue told Customs Today that M/s Madni Paper Mills is involved in sales tax evasion of Rs 300 million. Sources told that M/s Madni Paper Mills has been among the leading suppliers of paper since 2014 but was not registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

It was also revealed that I&I IR has confiscated the records of the MPM in possession. The records included electricity bills and computers.
