Mehmood expressed concerns about certain caretaker ministers and other elements allegedly working towards skewing the election results in favour of the United Businessmen Group. He asserted that such partiality would not be tolerated under any circumstances and could have far-reaching consequences for the business community and the nation at large.

“The FPCCI elections play a crucial role in shaping the future of our country’s economic landscape. Any attempt to compromise the fairness of these elections is a direct threat to our growth and development,” warned Mehmood.

Highlighting the potential repercussions of election interference, he cautioned that if the implicated elements failed to exhibit restraint, there would be an intense backlash. The Senior Vice President stressed the need for a democratic and transparent election process to ensure that the chosen representatives truly reflect the will of the business community.

Mehmood Ch called upon the relevant authorities to investigate any potential malpractices and take swift action to maintain the integrity of the electoral process. He urged all stakeholders, including businessmen, to remain vigilant and actively participate in upholding the principles of fairness and impartiality during the election proceedings.

His strong stance against election interference underscores the significance of maintaining a level playing field in economic matters. As the FPCCI elections are taking place , the business community and the public will closely watch developments to ensure that the democratic values and principles governing the electoral process are upheld, fostering an environment conducive to sustainable growth and prosperity.
