Its selling was declared violation of law due to non payment of taxes and customs duty along with the reason that the instructions of health mandatory and underage warning were missing.

Special team headed by Inspector Maqsood ullah took action against the existence of banned cigarettes and seized the stock.

The Korean cigarettes are being smuggled through Afghanistan and Iran. Cases will be registered against the persons from whom it is recovered and they will be punished according to law.

Those persons who are found to have possession of its stock can be imprisoned for up to five years with a penalty of Rs 50,000 as well as confiscation of all the stock.
