Sudanese Ambassador inaugurates GCCI’s industrial exhibition

SIALKOT: Ambassador of Sudan in Pakistan Ahmed Abdul Rehman Muhammad inaugurated the “Made in Gujrat” industrial exhibition held at Gujrat under the auspices of Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI).

Sudanese Ambassador visited several stalls of Gujrat made products there and showed keen interest in fans.

On this occasion, the Sudanese Ambassador stressed the need of promotion of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Sudan, saying that the two brotherly countries have been enjoying cordial trade relations and now the time was ripe to further strengthen these mutual trade ties.

Earlier, addressing an important meeting of Gujrat business community held at Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), the Sudanese Envoy revealed that the Gujrat based fans’ manufacturers and exporters could explore and capture the international trade markets of Sudan by exporting their best quality fans, which could also be in a great demand in Sudan and its neighboring countries.

President Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Mehar Saqib Ishaq and Chairman “Made in Gujrat” industrial exhibition Ch. Ahmed Hassan Mattu gave a detailed briefing to the visiting Sudanese Ambassador about the industrial set up of Gujrat and its leading fan and furniture industries.

Earlier, The 5th annual industrial exhibition organized by the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) kicked off on Thursday at the Zahur Elahi Cricket Stadium in Gujrat.

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Mian Idrees and Sudan Ambassador Abdul Rehman jointly inaugurated the exhibition.

On this occasion, the Sudanese envoy in his address declared his country a gateway to African countries for Pakistani businessmen who should take full advantage of opportunities in his homeland as bilateral trade between Sudan and Pakistan did have a potential to grow.
