Sukkur-Larkana ASO seizes cigarettes valued Rs805000

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organizations of Larkana and Sukkur confiscated 1000 cartons of Kin cigarette, 250 cartons of Oscar Millano and 26 cartons of Pine light cigarettes worth Rs805000 during an action in Sukkur.

Collector Hyderabad Agha Shahid Majeed Khan directed his staff to curb smuggling attempts in the region.

The ASO team, under the supervision of Additional Collector Rehmatulah Vistro, conducted an operation in Sukkar-Larkana-Jacobabad checkpost areas and recovered the said contraband items.

The ASO team registered separate cases of smuggling against accused persons and forwarded the cases to the customs adjudications.

After a seizure report, the ASO team deposited the confiscated the said items into Sukkur State Warehouse.

The raiding team comprised Superintendent Ghulam Shabbir Phuputo, Inspector Nasrullah Jilal, Inspectors Ayaz Ali Shah, Abdul Wahab Sheikh, Muhammad Jurial Abbasi, Agha Nazir Ahmed, Sepoys Shabbir Ahmed Thebo, Iqbal Sheikh, Hawaldar Mehram Ali, Driver Manzoor Shori.
