LAHORE: Collector of Customs Appraisement Muhammad Sadiq has greeted customs superintendents and principal appraisers for their promotion to BS-17.
The collector in a message prayed that may Allah Almighty bless the officers and make the promotion a source of comfort to them, their families and general public.
The Federal Board of Revenue had promoted as many as 300 superintendents and principal appraiser throughout the country. The superintendents and principal appraisers working in BS-16 were given BS-17 recently.
However, the officers are unsatisfied with the promotion without the perks and privileges of the new scale.
