KARACHI: The Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) has asked the tax commissioners to ensure early issuance of ‘exemption certificates’ in the respective tax year 2016-17.

In a letter to Chief Commissioner, KTBA President Syed Rehan Hasan Jafry drew his attention towards difficulties faced by the bar members in getting the certificates. He stated that the department was taking a plea of expected changes in its jurisdictions which come into effect next month.
