Tax evasion of Rs 9.65m:Customs Adjudication serves show cause notice on M/s Power Tech

MULTAN: The Customs Adjudication has served a show-cause notice on M/s Power Tech International in tax evasion of Rs 9.65 million.

According to details, the Multan Customs has formed contravention after detecting irregularities during the audit in the import consignments of solar inverters and parts several months ago. The Power Tech has obtained undue benefit at the time of import without paying duty and taxes as well as without permission certificate of the Alternative Energy Development Board.

The Customs have formed contravention of duty tax evasion of Rs 9.5 million in the scrutiny of import record. The Customs Collectorate Multan has forwarded the tax evasion case of Power Technologies to Customs Adjudication for trial.
