Taxation Court grants 9-day remand for tax evader

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Court has granted nine-days remand of the accused who was involved in tax evasion on betel import.

A special judge of the Customs and Taxation Court handed over the accused Rashid Yaqub to the FBR Intelligence and Investigation team on a nine-day physical remand. Tariq Rashid Yaqub is allegedly involved in tax evasion fraud worth millions of rupees.
